I really messed up once, and the next day didn’t fix nothin..

An opportunity to learn from our own choices? To discover the way we should go?

To be co-creators with the Creator? If the idea of becoming the likenesses of God means anything, I think it at least means that.

I guess Leo is a Franciscan, not a Jesuit. I’m still surprised he didn’t know about the Daily Examen, though.

Speaking of messing up, that’s why St. Peter is one of my favorite saints. It seems like Jesus has him on the carpet for some kind of problem almost every other Gospel.

Peter has to be told things three times before he “gets it.” He was voted Most Clueless Apostle 33 AD.

So if a screw-up like Peter can make it, so can I.

Francis is thinking of Benedict.

It’s hard to conceive of Leo really messing up. Maybe missing confession one day?
