ULTRA NATE AND THE COVER-UP: PART 3

The bell rings. School has ended, and the students walk out of the school. Nate is walking home with Teddy and Francis, who are still talking about the project. Nate is trying to act as normal as he could to prevent himself from going insane.

Teddy: Man, if I figured out Ultra Nate’s identity, I would choose a pizza party! There is NO way I’m going to college!

Francis: Think about it! It’s a free scholarship to Harvard! It usually costs thousands of dollars for one, while a pizza party is nothing above a hundred!

Teddy: Some weird logic right there. Right, Nate?

Nate: I… uh… guess…? I really want to, uh, figure out his identity in order to get the pizza party…!

Meanwhile, Gina is sprinting home with all of her notes from the project. She enters her room, which looks like a normal bedroom. She goes to her bookshelf, slides a few books to the left, and pushes a button. The bookshelf splits itself into two, revealing an elevator.

Gina: This Ultra Nate project requires some high-tech… I need to figure out his identity to get that Harvard scholarship.

Gina enters the elevator and it goes down. It stops in her basement. A lot of high-tech machinery is in there, including a ginormous microscope that has a zoom-in/out feature. Gina reaches into her pocket and grabs a piece of paper listing Ultra Nate’s characteristics. She looks at it.

Gina: From all the info I have collected, this should be enough for one of my machines to identify this superhero’s secret identity… I will become famous!

Gina walks over to one of her machines. It is named “The Person Identifier.” She puts the piece of paper into the machine and turns it on, activating it. It takes a while. but it finishes and prints out a list of results.

Aren’t bubble pipes outlawed for promoting smoking?

BIG NATE AND THE BET: Part 27

“Alright, are we missing anything?” Nate asked as he lined up the last of the ingredients on the counter. Dee Dee did a quick check. “Nope, looks like we’ve got everything.” “Alright, let’s make this sucker!” Nate said with a smile. “You get started on the dough, Nate. I’ll make the sauce.” Dee Dee said while smiling back. Nate plopped down a huge hunk of dough on a board and got out a rolling pin. “Never done this before,” Nate thought, “but how hard can this be?”

He rolled out the dough, flattened it, and then shaped it into a circle. Now all he had to do was spin it in the air. “So far, so good.” Nate thought. He threw the dough into the air… and it got caught in the ceiling fan, which sent the dough flying into the window that Randy was filming through. “Nyaahh!!!” Randy screamed as he fell onto his back. “Better pull out while I still can!” Randy took off, as fast as his feet would carry him.

“Nate! What did you do?” Dee Dee asked as Nate walked over to the window and peeled the dough off. “Had a little trouble with my number one FAN.” Nate replied. Dee Dee rolled her eyes at the terrible joke. “Alright, Nate, let me help you with the dough.” She helped flatten out the dough again, and then they made sure the fan was off and they weren’t under it, and spun it in the air. “Cooking was never my strong suit.” Nate said

“Yeah, you’re too busy with your FANS to learn.” Dee Dee said with a smile. Nate replied with a fake groan and then laughed. “Alright, now the sauce!” he exclaimed aloud. “I forgot about the sauce!” Dee Dee said in a panic as she rushed over and turned off the stove. “Well, I’m no expert,” Nate said as he peered into the pot, “but I don’t think sauce should be burned brown.” “Ya think?” Dee Dee said as she picked up the pot by the handle and dumped it into the sink.

Why did Quincy not comment?

I’ll try to post it, as early, as I can. This is the continuation of my previous story on there. Read below.

Big Nate. Rock’n’roll, baby! – Part 1

A few weeks ago was Halloween and I went trick – or – treating with Francis and Teddy, as usual. We were usually getting garbage. But now, we collected a huge jackpot. Yes, it were good candys (y’know, Twinkies, Raisinets, Snickers, etc.), but we saw a poster on a wall.

It was an ad for casting for a music contest for bands and singers.

“Guys! Look!”, I called my friends.

Francis and Teddy came running to me and I showed the poster.

“What are you driving at?” Teddy asked.

“If bands can take part in it, we could go on the casting!”, I replied.

“Nate, you think we have a chance to win?”, Francis said.

“Francis, inasmuch as we won the contest for a comic, there’s a huge chance, we’ll win this competition too!”, I answered.

“Good point”, Teddy stated. “We’re not so bad.”

“Ok, guys, we’re meeting at Friday, in my basement”, I decided. “Call Artur”.
