They wouldn’t do that, they’d just use a solid block and draw a slot on it with a sharpie.

THIS is why McConnell was so intent on packing SCOTUS.

My hope is that, like other justices have done, they will use their tenured status to at least somewhat find a more middle ground. My fear is that they won’t…

Mitt Romney ironically stated “We want to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat”. Dems should throw that right back in the republicans faces. HR1 does exactly that, the republicans assault on voting rights seeks to legalize election theft.

There is a danger in having a mixture of religion and politics which the founders recognized and founded the United States as a secular nation. The Treaty of tripoli was an early confirmation of that and is part of the reason today’s “Republicans” must live in an alt-reality.

“As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen; and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.”

    https://ffrf.org/news/day/dayitems/item/37585-treaty-of-tripoli

Today’s “Republicans” fear both the changing demographics of the population that the future is bringing and history which shows that their christian conservatism runs counter to core tenets of our constitutional quasi-democratic republic. \

What do you do with a rabid dog??? You put it down, that’s what!

And we can do that…VOTE. No matter how hard they try to make it, no matter how much they try to make it impossible, the GOOD PEOPLE in America HAVE to show the GQP that we will NOT be intimidated, and we will NOT surrender to their Fascist dreams of " A government of the Rich White Men, by the Rich White Men, and for the Rich White Men."

GOP are busy changing districts and allowing ONE drop box per county! In Ohio we have about 88 counties, and it’s a drive to get to one. Why do they always get away with this? Anyone? It’s criminal! They’re fear of losing is driving them nuts and they can’t win unless they cheat!

So much time struggling not to hate, not to become the very intolerant, violence-promoting, bullies that I denounce and vote against. For years the GOP “moderates” remained silent. In their silence those moderates became complicit. So now they are all GOPSOBs. I may or may not win my struggle not to Hate. Even so, I don’t foresee ever excusing the 7M plus American voters who voted to destroy our Republic by putting *45 back in office, and who continue to violate our Constitutional Rights To Vote (15th, 19th, and 26th Amendments). Those in office who encourage such laws should be removed and forever banned from holding public office again.

The sad thing is that the GOP would LOVE this cartoon because they would believe this makes voting “secure” when it is really restricting legitimate voters.

The GOP doesn’t have to go far in order to find election fraud. They only need to look in the mirror.
