Lisa, who presumably vote for the least qualified candidate in American political history, is suddenly so very concerned about proper qualifications.

How does Lisa know whether Caitlyn is qualified?

Has Caitlyn made the pilgrimage to Mecca-Lago yet?

Maybe Lisa ought to put her name and integrity on the line and run, so that we can judge her qualifications?

When will we learn that we should vet candidates for political office AT LEAST as well as we vet an automobile mechanic, an oncologist, a school district, a roofer, a landscaper, a restaurant? Just because we’d like to have a beer with a candidate doesn’t mean that s/he should be entrusted with tax-and-spend issues. We might was well give our teen-age son a case of beer and the car keys.

Now wait a minute, everyone. Ms. Benson makes, for her, a valid point. Consider her position as a True Republican. That being the case, Caitlyn Jenner does indeed lack the necessary qualifications Ms. Benson holds dear for any candidate for political office: i.e., a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot. /s

What qualifies one for political office? I mean, it’s not rocket science. Probably the one greatest attribute outside legal eligibility would be organizational skills which is what made Trump such an outstanding President. What dismays me is that so many congress critters are lawyers. Yeash. In any case specifically referring to the governor of California, both the great Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger were excellent governors. Well, Arni had a great start but towards the last part of his administration he kinda flaked out. Caitlin’s successful career certainly indicates that she could carry out the duties of governor. Far better than Newsome’s career of disastrous decisions.

Lisa, don’t you want to encourage Matthew McConaughey to run in Texas. He outpolled Abbott 45%-33%.

His experience matches what your Fat Orange Clown brought to the White House. Plus he will have the perfect campaign slogan that endears him to you: ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT.

Americans can sometime be completely idiot where it comes to voting for personalities rather than principles…and this doesn’t always just pertain to Hollywood celebrities…any local or national ‘hero’ who doesn’t know apples from oranges will also work.

Republicans and Communists demonize democratic socialism with equal fervor

Quick, what do Republicans and communists have in common?

    They demonize west European-style socialism.

When Republicans call Democrats “socialists,” they want voters to hear “communists.”

Okay, it was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. But the defunct USSR was a communist dictatorship (and became an authoritarian state under Trump’s pal Putin).

While independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, who challenged Joe Biden for the Democratic presidential nomination last year, is a democratic socialist similar to those in countries like Sweden, Biden’s not. Neither is Vice President Kamala Harris.

The Democratic party isn’t a democratic socialist party either.

In terms of world politics, the Democratic party is centrist. Globally, the GOP is way out on the far right-wing fringes.

Large democratic socialist, or social democratic, parties are common throughout western Europe, including in NATO countries. So are labor parties, which embrace democratic socialism/social democracy. (The U.S. is the only industrial democracy without a viable democratic socialist, social democratic or labor party.)

Anyway, the Soviets hated all forms of democratic socialism. (So did Hitler and the Nazis.)

What is ‘Democratic Socialism?’, an English language paperback book published in Moscow in 1978, parroted the Communist Party line, dissing democratic socialism with the same ardor as today’s GOP.

“‘Democratic socialism’, whatever its guise, is nothing more than a reformist and bourgeois alternative to existing socialism [communism], which historically speaking is the only possible form of socialism,” the book says.

Democratic socialist parties would beg to differ. So would Sanders.

Watch Puppet Mitch McConnell Pretend to Be Human in Robert Smigel’s ‘Let’s Be Real’

In this exclusive clip from Robert Smigel’s latest political puppet special on Fox, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell tries to prove he’s not a turtle.

Puppet McConnell welcomes the interviewer into his lavish home, steering him away from a meeting between his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, and Russian operatives and toward his “man cave” where he is literally growing federal judges. “We’re just chilling in the dirt like bros,” he says unconvincingly.

    Let’s Be Real on Fox.
