Dang it, Ripley, you couldn’t have put a nice bright circle around the part with the writing, so I could have some idea of where it is? I do really love that painting, though. I always knew there was something wrong with me.

There isn’t just one painting of The Scream. Munch made two painted versions and two in pastels. Then he created a lithograph from which prints were made. He knew a good thing when he had it!

Crows can make friends with humans? Try convincing the ones that decided to hang out on the jungle gym, and then began chasing the schoolchildren.

Crows will become friendly with anyone who has food.

If roaches didn’t stop at the wings, there would be fewer to worry about.

They say that message is hidden in Munch’s The Scream. After viewing the painting, wouldn’t most people reach that conclusion anyway?

Crows is very intelligent birds. They is very smart and they has a society too. One crow finds some food and they call all their pals to come share it. If one of them is in trouble, the others try to help. If one them dies, the others gather around and mourn. They is my favourite birds. Except for when they do that nasty thing from above that most other birds do, that is.

Watching a series about the Tower of London , I can believe the panel about Crows recognizing faces. There is a Keeper of the Crows

He was mistaken, as it could also have been drawn, chalked, etched, or carved by a madman.

Take care, may famed mariachi trumpeter Juan Tu Tresord be with you, and gesundheit.

There was a man on the reservation who was called Crow. Crows flocked around him and watched him work on motorcycles and cars. Instead of stealing bright, shiny things they’d pick up a dropped chrome lug nut and give it back to him. They also brought him news. One would fly up and chatter to him and Crow would say “someone’s coming”, and a few minutes later a car or truck would drive up. They protected him as well. The association was uncanny. Crows are wise spirits in Native American lore.

Then there was the farmer who put up a scarecrow that was so ugly, the crows not only stopped taking new corn, they brought back the corn they took last year!

That looks more like a raven than a crow! I thought crows had pale yellow beaks and legs while ravens are all black!

So, the famous painting was a self portrait.

They eat the wings so their mates won’t swing.

I formed a friendship with Old Crow.

I could’ve saved everyone a lot of speculation on that obvious answer for “The Scream”…

As some have already stated, crows are really smart. They also remember if someone does them wrong and will pass that information on to their friends. They use tools and show the ability to use reason to figure out problems.

My wife had a pet crow when she was growing up, raised after her Mom brought it home from a nest.
