It’s almost that time of the year, again.

Sigh, has anybody noticed that the more Garfield comics come the more it gets boring? No offense, Jim.

I was finishing my shower and was bending over to dry my toes when I sneezed. I went down like a rock. Dripping wet, I crawled to my bed to call my boss to tell him I wouldn’t be in that day.

You sneeze, you lose.

Knocked over a few trees but never thrown my back out.

Not yet but give me time.

Having a severe form of ankylosing spondylitis I can relate, as a hard sneezing fit can leave my back in pain for hours

Darn allergy season!

Since my prostatectomy, I do wee a little…

I haven’t thrown my back out. But I have sneezed and hurt my back.

Yup Garfield, been there more times than I can count with winter colds and summer allergies with sneezes that tossed my back out. Not fun.

If Garfield had my allergies, he’d put In for a new back. Hey, Worf got one!

I’ve sneezed and pulled a muscle under my right ribcage. A pulled back seems scarily realistic now….

My brothers birthday is today. He’s turning 13

I think my mom did that, once. And because of the back pain, it sometimes hurt to inhale. One morning when she was in church, she was exhaling more than she was inhaling and passed out.

actually, my family has… sadly. :(

I’ve learned that when I feel a sneeze coming, I curl forward to brace for the impact. It helps.

Thrown, no…tossed a little, maybe…

My back went out once when I was reaching for the toilet paper. True story!

Never thrown my back out (its already out) but I’ve definitely rattled the windows.

No but I stretched once to loosen up my back and threw it out.

Can’t say that I have. Then again, I am not as old as you, Garfield.

Actually, this can easily happen.

Throwing out your back while sneezing? That’s a new one. As for me, sneezing multiple times in a row is nothing new.

Because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I have thrown out my back sneezing. I’ve also partially dislocated a rib from a sneeze. That wasn’t fun.

Not yet. However, you are pretty old for a cat. So I guess I understand…

I have sneezed and broken ribs. It was the second most painful thing ice ever done. The number one most painful thing was the next sneeze.

hmm…nope didn’t ever, so far at least.

I’ve never thrown my back out sneezing, but I have wrenched it doing so. Coughing’s worse.

Several years ago I sneezed hard, which induced epistaxis (nasal hemorrhage) resulting in a trip to the ER and two days in a hospital. No pain whatsoever, but blood all over my bathroom mirror, walls, and floor, and almost splattered the cat.

Relatable, but I throw out my shoulders.

Cracked a rib once.

Well, if your back didn’t have to support you’re gross gut, it would be able to handle a little sneeze.

Since the dawn of covid, an everyday sneeze (or cough, hiccup or fart) could be misinterpreted so I’ve held it in the rare time it happens. But holding in sneeze, I can feel my neck vertebrae pop.

Mine goes out just sitting on the toilet!

I threw mine out once with a single cough. Immediately collapsed on the floor and couldn’t get up cause my back muscles were locked in place.

That really hurts!

Years ago I twisted my back by sleeping in some weird position. Took almost a month to straighten out. I can be fine for a long time, and then a sneeze, or even some simple movement will aggravate it again.

do i have not done that before
