Too many people, especially from my former generation and older, like to find the negatives of social media rather than the negatives of some people and the inability of people to be able to discern what is good vs bad, true vs false.

Well, Scott, BEFORE that ‘devolvement’, Republicans all believed in Trickle Down economics where tax cuts for the rich make everyone else wealthy also.
And the Silent Majority/white backlash.
And Saddam had nucular weapons.
And no legislation will be considered unless supported by a majority of Republicans.
And Newt has the right idea about compromises, (there ain’t gonna be any).
And OBAMA IS COMING TO TAKE YOUR GUNS! (and was born in Kenya).
