Can you imagine over a century ago it was “ban horse carriages, ban steam engines, ban coal engines, ban the telegram, etc” cause that’s what happens when technology evolves in a society. By the way, we already tried to ban alcohol; that failed miserably; and places like Alabama banned yoga in 1998…so….we can find ignorance in any state in America if you just look for it.
Honestly, I’d rather they gradually raise the tax on gasoline and diesel fuel. Banning things tends to be problematic: Abortion, Prohibition and recreational drug laws are examples of this.
I usually wonder why I bother. Then I remember: I love feeling like I’m THIS much smarter and better informed than someone who is actually paid to do this kinda BS.
And before you suggest it… Nope, I’m not gonna exhibit my lack of artistic ability to even very close friends, much less the public. And besides, I’m retired!

When the Big Lie republicans held up their red map of the USA after the election, Washington was the only blue state.

Golly Henry. I can understand why you’re upset. I had no idea that Washington was not proposing to ban giving water to those in voting lines.

Isn’t it the religious conservatives that want to ban dancing?

There is nothing so low that Payne won’t go to attack Democrats or progressives of all stripes.

Henry Payne would rather live in a state which vows to ban progress.

What do dancing and alcohol have to do with green programs? Something here doesn’t make sense (probably Payne’s artistic hyperbole).

Of course, Payne. It’s liberals who always wanted to ban dancing and alcohol.
