As others have written, the Chauvin decision was less justice than accountability; when decisions like this are the norm, then, perhaps, it can be called justice.
I’m pretty well convinced that ONE of the reasons religion was invented was to give slaves something to look forward to after they die. This quote reminds me of that concept.
