Perhaps (not likely though) this might stop other 13 year olds from shooting tin cans in an alley at 2:30 in the morning. (just a guess about the tin cans).
https://abcnews.go.com/US/fatal-police-shooting-13-year-adam-toledo/story?id=77115626 The gunshot residue was found on the other suspect’s gloves. I searched but could not find any report of residue on 7th grader Adam Toledo’s hands. The video of the shooting needs enhancement to determine whether or not the boy had a weapon in his hand, and there are reports of him both being unarmed and about him holding a weapon but virtually all mention that it is not possible to determine that simply from the raw video – no report disputes that he had raised his hands, had his hands in the air. I post this with a source and have done some searches because I haven’t seen any other sources cited. I’ll just add that I have experience doing research and gave it more consideration than some who posted about it.
Also… simply having a gun is not justification for murder. was he firing or even pointing it at the cops… should be the question. I’m sure all the second amendment defenders will agree and call for justice. /s
The video shows the 13 year old in gang colors was armed at 2:30 A.M. running from police in an alley after he and another person were shooting at passing cars.
The problem police will find with police continuing to shoot people that are complying with their instructions, it can end up backfiring on them. If criminals figure the police are going to shoot them anyway, they are not going to be inclined to follow their orders. Let’s hope it does not come down to this, as more people having shootouts with the police means more innocent bystanders being shot and perhaps killed.
I’m here because I was getting riled watching the George Floyd trial today. Whatever that dolt of a defence attorney was trying to prove with his videos, it made the opposite impression on me. When I started fanatsising choking that gentleman I turned off the TV. It’s much too nice a day to spend upset.
I don’t care if he at some point had a firearm on him. The fact his hands and arms were up in a non-threatening manner made the shooting unjustified. All this right wing conspiracy that MSM digitally removed the gun and the police union immediately claiming it was a justified shooting is a huge problem in the US.

A warning shot between the eyes or in the back will do it.

Does not working together (obstruction/denial) with each other ever solve a problem that affects everyone?

The police gave the white guy who killed two people with an automatic weapon a bottle of water.

The only way to neutralize THAT threat is to disarm ordinary cops. Or in other words “defund the cops”.

Remember that right wing kid who shot two ‘protesters’? The cops love him.

Who will those trigger-happy cops kill next? Babies in strollers??
Pogostiks Premium Member about 3 years ago
They already broke the arm of a 70+ woman with dementia for not “complying”… so children in strollers is not really that far off the mark…
