Why the heck is the grass always greener on the other side of the fence both ways? If I’m going someplace where there is good weather, plenty of room and food to eat, why is there room for me?
So the fish came to the illogical conclusion that there’s a huge flood on the way, based on seeing a big boat being loaded up with animals? Noah could just as likely be a dealer in animals, going on a business cruise to ply his trade.
More likely, as he and his friends came out of the water, the fish got a look at Noah, and his first thought was, “Wait a minute! We’re going to evolve into that??”
The part of the Noah story that gets left out because it’s so Confusing:
Gathering up two of each kind of fish into a giant Aquarium to save them from the 40 Year Drought that dried up all the Lakes & Oceans before God sent the Flood.
Alas, if you’re a salt-water species, having the salinity of the ocean diluted by having more than 3 times as much fresh water dumped into it isn’t going to do you any good. Not to mention all the silt and debris that will be churned up, choking you.
Oh, and the fact that dumping all that water onto the surface of the water that fast will actually cause it to boil due to the energy involved.

I’ve always wondered if in the history of great die offs, if that was also the times of greatest biological changes ( advances )

We’re coming up on another one “real soon now”. And it ain’t gonna be 40 days and nights of rain, it’s gonna be 400 years of risen seas.

The fish are doomed anyway. The amount of water to cover Everest would kill all the marine invertabrates and plants destroying the oceans food chain.
Mucking the elephants would be more than the crew could handle and how they could save the whales is risable. Yes, whales have breath.
I do have to question the morality of anyone who could worship such an alleged deity.
I’d better stop or I’ll probably start ranting.

If you are wondering whether your property will be flooded by Global Warming, Google Paleocene marine deposits and add your state or province.

No reason for the ark to be next to water. It would just make it harder to build.

I hope you’re not saltwater fish; the salinity of the oceans is going to be affected by all that rain.
