The Democrats didn’t force those CEOs to “awake”. The Republicans forced it by creating an uproar over what can be perceived as voter suppression.

    “Woke” is behavior, not identity.

You have a great career waiting for you Al, at McDonald’s, if you can stop dropping the customers’ orders on the floor.

“Woke” is apparently another word being politically smeared on the wall, such as have been the words “liberal,” “progressive,” and even “conservative.” What’s wrong with “social responsibility,” except that one party does not currently have it?

Talk about having a hard time dealing with reality vs the fantasy. Wow. Have to admit it’s pretty entertaining, but a little scary getting a glimpse into the bubble that Trumpers live in.

That’s right, memorize a few meaningless catch words and phrases and you can call yourself “Conservative”. Ignorant would be more accurate.

Corporations have diverse employees. They are beginning to refuse to give money to racist republicans. Republicans are not popular and depend upon corporate money. It appears to be a perfect storm against the racist republicans in 2024.

I view cartoons across the political spectrum. It is illuminating to see the range of issues raised, and how they are addressed, even when my perspectives differ.

This, like most of Al’s cartoons have no redeeming value.

Al’s people wear MAGA hats to ID themselves (and to warn the rest of us to keep a safe distance). So I guess he thinks we should do something to identify as thinking, compassionate types. Was that what you were going for, Al?

    1. Gawd, I hate that stupid use of the word “woke.” 2. IDs are needed for activities that are NOT rights such as driving a potential weapon, aka vehicle; buying guns, liquor, cigarettes, certain prescriptions, etc. 3. IDs are not needed for activities that are rights such as voting.

Take Minnesota as an example:(Identification is not required of already-registered voters in Minnesota. If they have not voted in four years or more, proof of residence is required. – Ballotpedia)

Minnesota Ballot Suit Tossed by Judge Citing.000004% Fraud Rate. Minnesota’s plan to accept mail-in ballots until a week after Election Day survived another Republican challenge when a federal judge ruled that GOP claims of potential fraud don’t hold up to evidence — the rate of voter fraud in the state is just 0.000004% since 1979.Brasel, an appointee of President Donald Trump, said in the ruling. And their fears, she said, are “conjectural and hypothetical,” given just two cases of voter fraud out of 45 million ballots cast since 1979.

The following statement just shows what kind of people republicans are and their psychological projection: “The suit by two Republican presidential electors assumes it’s ‘human nature to commit voter fraud’ if given the opportunity…Similar claims of voter fraud stemming from a surge in mail-in ballots have been rejected in numerous courts.”Bloomberg.com. 10/12/2020, pN.PAG-N.PAG. 1p.

When right-wing commenters have to resort to peripheral issues to make their deadlines, it means that they have nothing more substantial to complain about.

What will the Republican party do if people stopped being fearful of what the government might do, and instead became happy about what government has done? The next few months will be fun to watch.

Is that even something in Al’s universe? Certainly isn’t something in the Real World. Maybe AL is losing his grip in his alternate reality as well. Goodwyn’s Law™. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8qcccZy03s

Wow, private corporations freely exercising their rights has REALLY triggered those poor right-wing snowflakes, hasn’t it?

Do Republicans think they have the right to demand AGREEMENT with their horrible statements?

Okay Goodwyn, I realize that as a contemporary Republican, you wouldn’t know this, so I just tell you. Supporting voting rights isn’t “woke”. It’s what America is supposed to stand for.
