Several products advertise they take off permanent magic marker. I think that is a tribute to the imagination of their marketing departments. And it depends on the surface (porous or non-porous). The one I think works best is not for use on skin… Got to be careful with that sucker.

Permanent marker wears off in a months time at most. The top layer of skin is constantly renewing itself.
