I’m fascinated by the way the Chauvin trial is going. On one side real experts explaining the actual details, the actual police training etc. On the other side, less impressive “experts” explaining how the known details aren’t as important as the ones they think should have been there, and claiming that Chauvin was actually following standard training practice. Yeah. Sure. Though, if it really is the standard, then you can see why folks want to abolish the cop shops.
The foreign “expert” Doctor testified his “opinion” to create “reasonable doubt” that anything but the cop’s knee on the neck for over nine minutes, could have led to death of an unarmed Black man. He wasn’t shot in the back. The defense rests. . . . . /S
First, the cop gets put on paid leave. Then other cops investigate for a while, lose a little evidence, change a few records, and then call the killing “justified”.

Yes, there are excellent people wearing badges. But it is obvious that there are too many others who aren’t.
