When dealing with a person of color, EVERYTHING looks like a gun to a police officer … EXCEPT A GUN

Civilians going about their daily lives (walking home from a convenience store, sleeping in bed) are not trained for crisis situations yet are expected to remain calm under stress.

Trained officers are supposed to have been TRAINED to keep cool under pressure and de-escalate every crisis situation, yet they are the ones who keep killing people, though it seems to be that it ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE PERSON IS NON-WHITE.

Why is brown skin such a trigger for cops?

    Are they allergic to melanin?

In order to be on the safe side, police institute a new policy to taser and shoot each and every suspect.

If there wasn’t video and sound the sociopaths would rehearse a version of Dirty Harry’s speech to deliver in those opportune situations (for them).

“Do I think I’m holding a taser or a gun? Feeling lucky punk?”

I have noticed a few things. Unlike Chauvin, Potter doesn’t look arrogant in her mug shot. Not sure what exactly was going through her mind to do what she did, but she doesn’t have that killer or happy to have killed look. Other differences, she immediately resigned and was charged far faster than Chauvin and his accomplices.

I haven’t the time or resources to do the statistics, but it seems to me that women and minority police officers are charged with and found guilty of crimes in these instances far faster than their white male counterparts, who rarely get charged or convicted. Not saying they shouldn’t be held accountable, but it seems women and minority cops are more often held accountable.

Two cousins from Birmingham, AL ambush three officers in Carroll County Georgia. Watch as one of the “cousins” opens up with an AK-47 (if for a second anyone believes this perp went through a background check or purchased this weapon from a licensed dealer or that any gun laws would have prevented this, then I would suggest a thorough mental evaluation and fast). For whatever reason, when the video is “clicked” the message “video unavailable”. “Click here to watch on YouTube”. Click that and the video can be viewed. -The Feral Irishmanhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qkfpe2yrOY

I recall a Black kid was shot while holding a lethal sandwich as he turned towards a police officer. It may have been a ham sandwich that any good District Attorney can get a Grand Jury to vote to bring charges to prosecute. . . .

If you cannot see or feel to tell you are holding your gun you trained with, then you have no business carrying one.

Maybe there should be higher IQ/training standards for police? Some college training?

    Nahhhh.

Police issue tasers, unfortunately, are not the yellow ones. They are black. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-minnesota-shooting-taser-idUSKBN2C02RK

That looks more like my bug zapper than a taser. But given the difficulty some cops have with differentiating between handguns and tasers, it makes sense that tasers in no way should resemble guns and those that do should be taken off the market.

I love, adore, and (at times) respect Clay Jones, but how the hell could he NOT put a sippy cup in the other hand of the murdering cop??!!!

That would be “the cop who committed murder” or “the murderous cop”, just to make things clear. Then again, how clear can things be when the murder trial of Chauvin is called by the media the “Floyd trial”?
