Even though I’m not a girl, I read the Ramona stories. When I was a kid, I got books from the Scholastic Book Club. About 95% of the books I got were Beverly Cleary books. Henry Huggins, Beezus, and especially Ribsy were standard fare for me. Thank you Beverly!!!

I was astounded to find she was alive when I was fifty. Now I’m astounded that she’s gone when I’m only sixty-five. Henry, Beezus … :-)
