Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile

The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah

They’re swept away and nothing is what is seems

The feeling of belonging to your dreams

Listen to your heart when it’s calling for you

Listen to your heart, there’s nothing else you can do

    I don’t know where you’re going and I don’t know why

But listen to your heart before you tell it goodbye

    Rolf Letekro / Tony Harnell

Go with the Brain. Or else all that Evolution has been for nought. But whatever happened to the cliche image of an angel on the right shoulder, a devil on the left? Maybe even the right / left positions have become politicized.

Anybody remember that joke about all of the body parts arguing about who’s the boss?

It’s the holistic approach — interaction/communication/cooperation — that makes things work, NOT when you separate them and pit them against each other (e.g. heart/mind, liberal/conservative, etc). The plurality of voters ( ≈ 40% ) would be the minority if the so-called “major” parties worked together for the common good of their country instead of against each other.

Is this a setup for a cross-over with Awkward Yeti’s Heart and Brain?

Is this some kind of liberals think with their hearts/conservatives with their brains things? If so, it’s complete bollocks, as the majority of the GQP is composed of right-wing populists, who have discarded the use of brains for way too many important matters and have poisoned hearts.

Brings to mind Barry Goldwater’s campaign slogan of 1964; “In your heart, you know he’s right.” Apparently not, since he lost in a complete landside (carrying only six states to Lyndon Johnson’s 44 and 38% of the popular vote to Johnson’s 61%).
