Mayflies Going Their Own Way?

First time I’ve ever seen a brief lawyer.

His problems would be solved if he just slept on it overnight

They all see their lives flash before their eyes!!

These mayflies have it much easier than the July bug.

Of course that’s the best he could do. He spent his first 23 hours getting his law degree.

It isn’t much but it will seem like a lifetime.

This is really a lawyer’s brief!

The good news is, dead before the first lawyer consultation!

Should have tried for a postponement.

Every time I see a mayfly joke, I think of a scene in the TV show THE WILD WILD WEST where this dying extremely elderly man whispers to the heroes, “Ephemerida,” (mayfly genus) before he dies. The guy’s family aged really fast so the name fit.

I hope the Judge Hoffman referenced here is the same incompetent Julius Hoffman of The Chicago Seven renown. Julius vs. Abbie, and we all know who won!

Well he was kinda pressed for time.

Just drag the case out for a day. Then it won’t matter.

He’ll have his day in court, literally.
