Isn’t deliberately spreading a highly infectious lethal respiratory disease robbing freedom from those you infect by not heeding the best-known experts’ advice?
Is disrespectful biological warfare on your fellow citizens actually freedom?
sadly, there are probably more than enough moron-run businesses willing to cater to self-serving, selfish louts like TPG, yet another reason why it will take longer than necessary to finish off covid-19…
Using the freedom cry, do away with masks in the surgical suite and dentist office. Surely medical professionals deserve freedom of choice, too. Right?
Just set up a collection box. On it say, “Donate here to the Save America PAC and you don’t have to wear a mask.” Of course, you don’t have to actually give the money to the Donald J. Trump Golf Fund; pocket it for yourself. Don’t worry about it. If someone believes Trump, they’ll believe anything.
Unfortunately, since you are collecting cash, you can’t make it an automatically recurring donation.
I’ve had my shots, and I am probably now immune. I still wear a mask, out of respect for others, that still need to wear masks. Is that hard to understand?
A friend said that we weren’t born with masks on so wearing them is unnatural. I said we weren’t born with clothes on either, but I sure hope everyone wears them.
Private businesses can absolutely require masks, just as they can require shirts and shoes. Some require additional PPE: I went with my mom to shop for a new granite countertop, and the showroom required we wear closed-toe shoes and hardhats to go into their warehouse and actually pick out the specific granite slab they were going to cut for her. That’s totally reasonable. Anyone should be able to comply with that.
Around here, the vast majority of shops are even offering masks free of charge to guests who don’t have one, so it’s not really a hardship. Autistic daughter is doing just fine once we found a mask design that suited her sensory issues.

What about the “nay SCREAMERS”? It really ought not to be the job of a store clerk to enforce the mask mandate.

Here again, by feeding the troll, we have given it an insurmountable lead. We could vanquish it. But rather we fall into its seductive trap.

A contentious troll, assuming it was the target of a previous comment, just tried to bait me into a direct reply. Will I fall for it? Not this time.

I say again, I wear my mask for the same reason I drink my morning coffee; for your protection more than my own.

I haven’t bothered to read the troll’s effusion, I skipped directly to “Show All Comments”. It makes for a much better frame of mind…

Vicious crazy Republicans would rather fight you and shoot you than comply with Public Health standards that save people’s lives.

Sign in a restaurant (I heard about it, I didn’t see it myself):
Masks required. 50% surcharge if we have to explain why. 150% surcharge if we have to listen to your counterargument.

Lots of “freedumb” states out there, Terry, and I understand they have plenty of room for more graveyards.

Two hours and 30 minutes since the last mass shooting.
Ted Cruz will have to give his “Every time there is a mass shooting” speech for the 3rd or 4th time in as many weeks.
