It used to be “Don’t believe everything you read in the papers!” Later, “….TV” Today, all these social media outlets are waging a daily assault against truth, science and reality. God, how I hate the 21st Century!
Very nice metaphor. Though I do believe that, in the end (assuming we make it past the current set of troubles) truth will prevail, because, well because “engineering” and “farming” and “medicine” etc. all depend on recognizing and coping w/ reality.
