From the size of it looks like Big Betty still won’t get sharpened.

Small school, so word of a new pencil sharpener gets around fast.

Stopping on a dime (panel 2) for the win!

Those electric sharpeners will turn a full sized No. 2 into a stubby very quickly.

I hope that kid is running before his pencil is sharpened..!

Anticipation is making me wait, keeping me late……

This is why I always use mechanical pencils.

Spud may need to find himself a good jack knife and some sandpaper to get a good point on old Bertha. Which would really make it more personal anyway.

Spud, have you seen the size of the pencil sharpener?

Does that little sign on the wall just left of Mrs. Macintosh’s head say “2 oz.” or “202”? And in either case, why?
