With a 4-1 lead midgame in pitchers weather, play for the DP and concede the lead runner, probably (but not necessarily) on third. Can catcher Wilson “O” Henry figure it out? If the lead man’s on third, will Nottingham counter by putting their runner on first in motion? Hit behind the runner? Delayed double steal? Or more likely, taking a couple to wait for Zane’s groove that can be launched towards South America? Meanwhile, I’m celebrating 1960 Technicolor!

I almost always like black and white better for daily comics. But with this one, the color may help keep the revolving cast of characters straight.
