Most often the female will keep several bird feeders full while the male is obsessed with keeping squirrels off his roof and out of the yard.

This picture was taken just before he ransacked that bird feeder himself.

The only feeders I have is for the hummers. I have one male Anna’s that will perch on the ring and sing away for half an hour or so, all the while none of the others get to eat.

Those are the best kind and don’t need to be blocked, censored, etc.

Hoping we get a Blue bird family back this year. Have the past five but they left early last year.

Also remember that too much feeding encourages birds to remain too long in one area—they either don’t migrate (shift to their winter feeding grounds or to their spring mating areas) soon enough or they remain for the winter where they suffer temperatures they might not be equipped to handle and compete with native species for food.

as far as I am concerned there is no other kind of tweets -any other kind must exist only in an alternative universe where I would prefer not to be
