A long time ago a little girl could not pronounce “baby brother.” It came out “bee bee buzzer” and eventually shortened to “Buzzer” and eventually “Buzz”. The little brother grew up and went into the Air Force and later worked at NASA. I wonder how he did.
Arabic is full of allusional references to other words that begin with the same sounds. It’s confusing enough without parents giving one the “bum steer”.

Sorry to admit my ignorance of the arabic language. But what does it mean?

I think most people have one parent this can be related to. I know I can.

We kids invented our own language just to give the parental units the “bum steer”.

I used to call raisins nang-nangs; I couldn’t tell you why. Probably a similar story.
