The poem brought tears to my eyes… our daughter just finished chemotherapy and surgery for triple negative breast cancer. Boy, was it rough. But she has a pretty good prognosis now.
Annie is far to philosophical for a child her age. All she should have to worry about is growing up, falling in love and having a family. Yet here she is contemplating what is and what life should be.
