When you cheat, you only cheat yourself. It all catches up to you eventually.

Who cares as longs as you’re having fun and not hurting anyone?

Hehehe, nothing to beat “local rules”, especially when they’re made up on the spot! :D

When you’re not playing against anyone else, it should be fine to play however you want – even to not keep score – as long as you don’t interfere with anyone else or do damage to the golf course.

The “window” is only for USA.

You’re always allowed to cheat. Cheating is expected. Getting caught cheating is the no-no.

Hey, it takes lots of money to keep all parts of a golf course completely playable year round. Many people don’t mind someone moving the ball a few inches to a better lie (as long as you’re in the fairway). Hitting the darned ball well is hard enough, let alone hitting it from a bad lie.

If you don’t cheat at golf, the game is always the same.

So he is the great ancestor of Mr Mulligan…..

The main POINT of the game is to move the ball – all the rest is just details. :)

After my post above, it changed to 29!

And it just keeps getting better! I signed in again just now and had 3 “Notifications” of replies to my comments. Clicked each to open in a new tab and received – “404 page not found GoComics” errors on all three.
