Can’t he just let himself out? He got you through the door!

I was lounging in my Jacuzzi when the doorbell rang. I was expecting UPS, so I didn’t think anything about it. I checked my Ring camera, and it was my German Shepherd! She had gotten out of my fence in yard, gone around to the front door, RANG THE DOORBELLL, then tried to open the front door. She got the storm door open a little, but couldn’t get in. She milled around on the porch because she knew she wasn’t supposed to be out there, until I yelled for my son to let her in!

This is very funny to watch in this strip. Next there will be recliners with gears on them to move around the room – no need for Marmaduke.

I thought maybe Marm was trying to get Dad out to get a gift for Mother’s Day …

We had a mini dachshund who did the opposite of “Muffin” in the “Doggone Funny”. After we got up in the morning, she would jump onto our bed and put her head on the pillow. Then she would “yip” until I pulled up the covers and tucked them under her little chin. She’d stay there until she heard the sound of the dog bowls being filled!
