Well, duh… If they’d open more polling places so the voting lines aren’t so long, food and water would not be an issue. The repugs closed polling locations to make the wait time for some people exceptionally long. They are just being cruel, hateful and inhumane on purpose.
Brilliant evocation of what the Georgia legislature and Governor have done. Looks like these white supremacists are about to do the same in Texas and Georgia soon. Tragically, I can’t imagine this Supreme Court invalidating such obviously politically-inspired voter suppression. The radical right wing majority on the Court knows why they were appointed and they’ve been doing exactly what they were told to do.
Was it not the “Jesus” spirit for whom these people breast-beatingly proclaim their worship, adoration, and desire to emulate who, you know, fed and watered those who were in need?
Phony bastards. May they reap their reward five-fold in their imaginary “afterlife”. Damn them all!
Ordinarily, I’m not much of a Bennett fan when it comes to editorial cartoons. He’s more of an illustrator than a cartoonist (compare him to, say, Clay Jones). This, however, is a perfect ‘illustration’.

Excellent rendition of a hangman’s knot. And a perfectly apt metaphor too. Well done (as usual) M. Bennett

Good for State of Georgia! And forget lying Joe Biden! The W. Post gave him 4 Pinocchio’s on his lying about their voting changes!
