Oh, oh! He spilled his juice. I think.

The Uh-Oh baby might be my favorite Richard Thompson character, closely followed by Dill.

Alice knows portents of doom. She’s one herself.

That baby most certainly does look evil.

Either he spilled his juice or he peed in his boots…

Babies have often come as a portent of doom. Words like “Uh-Oh” usually come after the pregnancy is discovered…

Don’t forget when this was first penned; the UH-OH baby might’ve been the portent of Covid.

It seems quite clear to me. Once you’ve figured out what they’re crying about while their mouth is full a few times, it gets easier.

So there they were, Alice and Beni, innocently playing in the sandbox, when along comes the Uh-Oh Toddler who has spilled his juice, The former Uh-Oh Baby seems clearly enough to just want another juice, but Alice and Beni can only see a Portent of Doom!

While it may not be logical, nor easy to explain to Madeline, they may be right. That kid carries bad juju with him!

It’s official! This is the Uh-Oh Toddler! And for the record, the UOT’s visit was not a portent of doom – it was a notification of a previous doom.

Because it makes not sense. Still funny though.

What you trying to say, uh oh baby? Where are your parents? Alice and Benji why are you running away from a baby. The baby sure doesn’t look scary to me. Just innosent with some kind of accident.

Some of baby’s teeth is missing making it hard for him speak. Alice and Benji thought that he about to do a spell on them in the sandbox. I think he was trying to tell those little scary clowns “I spilled my juice!” Or something. I can see a tiny thing next to him on the grass.

The Uh Oh baby looks a little like the Yellow Kid.
