Like Janis, my wife is allergic but more so. Years ago she went through the skin testing and reacted essentially to anything that moved, especially goats, and most anything you could eat, especially chocolate. Like Arlo, I’m not.

What repellent do you use when you must go out in public, since they’re unavoidable? (; )

Haven’t had warm enough weather here in new england yet. Some places in central & northern areas were below freezing Saturday am. But once warm weather comes; the pollen will explode.

Aren’t you being a bit unreasonable, Janis?

Why hate someone who does not have the issues you do? Consider them lucky. They may have issues you do not see. Almost everyone has issues of some form or another.

Several years ago I learned to start using Nasalcrom once a day starting in February and to use it until the bottle ran out after pollen season had gone away. That has worked great until now; we are in Albuquerque with a later pollen season!

the wind has been blowing the pollen around and hasn’t quit doing it for a couple weeks here. it is no wonder my sinuses are messed up.

Best thing ever to happen to me was to take allergy shots. Sadly, this previous year with the COVID, Allergist were not considered essential, so I was unable to get my shots. Now Pollen season is upon us and a lot worse, and I now suffer slightly till I can get my immunity built back up.

Frequent showers and changes of clothing help reduce the ultra local pollen count.

Thank your stars you aren’t in Atlanta. Pollen count today is 1848 grains per m^3 of air (mostly trees). At least it’s better than Palm Sunday. The count that day was 6974 gr/m^3

Any of you use a neti pot? It is great for the nose and sinuses. Clears all the crap out.
