Would you rather have mystery meat or hockey puck?

How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your mystery meat?

When I was in 9th and 10th grade school the freshmen had lunch last. We got the short end of the stick most days meaning the good stuff was gone by the time we got there. Then after much complaining on our part they switched the lunch scheduled. And my last two years the 11th and 12th graders had lunch last… :-D

My days in college were mostly in a converted warehouse with a food truck visit at noon.

I used to work on a college serving line. Years later I still wake up in a cold sweat.

Kind of reminds me of the breaded meat patties I was served for school lunch over the years. They were so processed and salty, you couldn’t tell the difference between the chicken and pork patties. There wasn’t much difference with the breaded fish patties, either, other than the texture.

Excuse me, what was this when it was alive? Wait a minute, let me rephrase the question. Was this ever alive? Is it even organic?

The reason I ask these questions is that I noticed three cockroaches barfing after eating it.

Camp food for workers servicing the oil industry in general is pretty good.. but mystery meat was a real thing for crews sent to work in Russia.

My college dormitory dining rooms often had mystery meat. I also remember “Candle salad,” with usually prompted ribald comments. All food was allegedly seasoned with saltpeter, to reduce studient libido.
