I know it’s a comic strip, but you talk BETWEEN sets, not DURING sets. Sheesh.

P1 is that a watermelon in your pants or are you happy to see me?

P2 and believe me, now that we are trapped in this strip, do we need it

P3 speaking of strokes, let’s break out the loofahs and hit the showers

In all reality , is that the secret Milford weight room that none of the players can use ? Inquiring minds want to know .

P1, Here, smell my fingers, Coach.

P2, Ah, so this is the part where we find out that Insane Zane can only throw strikes to his brother or someone who looks like him which just happens to be Corina.

P3, The annual Gil and Kaz weightlifting throwaway panel. This is the big one, Elisabeth!

As a coach Thorp should know better than to Squat without a spotter.Just wait until Kaz gets done doing his “Curls for girls.”

P3, He can’t work Gil, what’s your excuse?

Bobby Kaz looks smaller than in previous work out panels. The Internet Ninja must not be tapping a few keys importing The Canadian Juice.

P3: That had better be a tattoo, and not stitches.

Sorry, Kaz, but the barbed wire tattoo on the bicep does not make you look like a tough, dangerous dude. The guys who really want to look violent and threatening have a tattoo of… a butter knife!

And I was just about to do a Kaz countdown.

But what about the library computers?!

Maybe he can’t work but he could be a Milford Library Board member. And speaking of the library, when are we going to find out the relevance of Debbie being offered a great job in Denver? Finally, has P3 Gilpa ever looked more dorkier?

Gee…it seems like awesome catchers just plop into everyone’s lap in Milford whenever they need one

I guess Zane and Gil talked a lot more between panel 2 and 3

P 2.5: “….yep….he’s a lefty thrower too…”"

Wow, the little brother must be very brave, as Zane indicates that he is about 3 inches long.

I was never one of the people who contributed to the Coach Kaz hostage taker’s ransom.

I have to admit, it took me a moment to realize just what kind of stroke they were talking about…

Are you saying his dad is part of a “crew”?

If Barry Bader had a dirt bike, would he have a 2 stroke or 4 stroke model?

P3- Why is Gil wearing his pajamas to lift weights?

Milford CC club pro Gil explaining golf to Kaz in P3 in a simplistic fashion. “He still can’t work around playing while he’s stone drunk.”

P4- Clarence Carter’s soulful voice plays over the Muzak system as Milford’s Dundering Duo get their pump on. No way was I givin’ props to Billy Squire. There is no better way to spend Friday happy hour than to commandeer the pub jukebox and deposit one quarter after another playing and replaying our favorite CC song.

Enough of this sports action – what about the library computers?!?

Years ago during the tattoo storyline, Kaz mentioned regretting getting that barbed wire tattoo. But it looks different now. Smaller? Thinner? Maybe he’s getting it removed a tiny bit at a time.

And Gil in P3 reminds me of Mandelbaum from that Seinfeld episode. “You think you’re better than me? It’s go time!”
