Drug cartels? The drug cartels’ favorite American Presidents have all been Republicans because of their “war on drugs”, which has never done anything but enrich the cartels.

If I remember right, it’s the Republicans that misplaced or trafficked 500 children. Until these children are found and reunited with their parents I will not believe the Republicans didn’t sell them to pedophiles.

This is the most moronic thing I’ve seen since anyone tried to explain how Trump was a good President.

I guess this is the way it is in Al’s Alternate reality.

In the real world, Biden is taking care of actual children instead of leaving them to die in the desert, and reuniting the children T-p took away from families and locked in cages.

Silly Al thinks drug cartels send sicarios trekking across the hinterlands for weeks, or even months, to get into the U.S., or attempt significant drug deliveries similarly with backpacks. He also thinks human traffickers spend weeks of privation attempting to bring child sex slaves into the U.S.

    It’s almost humorous.

Hate-filled cartoon. He knows perfectly well he’s pushing lies. I do believe republicans/conservatives have the dexterity to wipe their memories clean when Democrats take office. Forget $2T to the rich, children separated from their families, Covid deaths and illnesses, attack on our government… and return to their past “platform” of balancing the budget, immigration reform, what is Covid?, and rule of law. Or, they’re just really good at projecting.

Making everything a binary choice of good vs. evil, convincing people that they are the “good” ones, and making people fear the “bad” ones is the modus operandi of the Republican party.

I think it was an Arlo Guthrie song: “Santa Claus wears a red suit, he’s a communist/ he has long hair and a beard, he’s a pacifist….”

Are you kidding, Goodwyn? Restrictive border policies are what human traffickers feed on. Seriously. If there’s a viable way to get into the United States in less than three months, who’s gonna pay a smuggler to stuff them into a box for the price of a new Tesla? The drug cartels also benefit from restrictive US immigration policies; if people can’t escape them easily, it is far easier for them to maintain control.

Economists reportedly ‘giddy’ about Biden’s $3 trillion stimulus plan

S&P predicts Biden’s infrastructure plan will create 2.3 million jobs by 2024, inject $5.7 trillion into the economy — which would be 10 times what was lost during the recession — and raise per-capita income by $2,400.…

The big picture: “We have to have a big public works program,” Lawrence Baxter, director of the Global Financial Markets Center at Duke, tells Axios.

Baxter compares Biden’s proposed new programs to New Deal initiatives like the Blue Ridge Parkway that were created to battle unemployment following the Great Depression.

No wonder Republicans are freaking out right now. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime demonstration of how government can truly work for people, and that’s an existential threat to the GOP, which has been touting starkly different solutions for the past 40 years.

The jig may be up soon, and if Biden can steer clear of major scandals and handle whatever crises come along, he could end up being a transformational figure in American history, returning us to the widespread, post-New Deal prosperity we enjoyed for decades and pulling us out of the supply-side doldrums that have led to inequality and uncertainty (for working people, anyway) throughout the past few decades.

I don’t think that Biden was serious in his statement that he would run for reelection, but it’s best to keep all options on the table.
