For me. I would say either Lasagna, or a Rib-Eye Steak smothered in sauteed onions and mushrooms with baked potatoes and a salad. Followed by an apple pie.
I’m just surprised that Andy corrected them at all—it would’ve been her chance to prepare a meal she prefers without fear of complaining from the rest of the family, on some day that ISN’T Mother’s Day or the like.
If she hadn’t corrected them, and gone ahead with the menu from panel one, next week’s strip would be “Mother’s Day?? Sorry Mom, been there, done that!”
I would just like to say I look forward to this singular Sunday strip all week. Gotta love Foxtrot and Amend’s years of writing a great, creative comic strip.

I wonder what would’ve been Roger’s choices: cashew butter sandwiches on gluten-free bread and then change it to gulyás?

What a NICE present to give your mother. And how nice of her to recognize it for what it is.

Send your mother flowers on your birthday. After all, that’s the anniversary of when she became one.

Fried shrimp, pizza, 2 liters of Mt. Dew…and a “salad”…(gotta give off a pretense of eating healthy…)

A Sunday strip like this makes me miss Amend not doing dailies. But I just how much longer will other cartoonists be able to do dailies themselves?

Mrs. Baker rarely serves meat. I think I’ve almost become vegan by default.

Why Fried Shrimp?

It doesn’t matter what you want for dinner. What you are going to get for dinner is nutritious tofu salad.

Why not have tofu, and salad on a normal day, and have pizza and fried shrimp on mothers day.
