Hmm…. That gives me an idea for Pumpkin Spice Meatloaf.

I’ve eaten worse. Though admittedly, it was while in the throes of the Blind Munchies. A long LONG time ago.

Opal start labeling everything and put a date on it ! Thus you know what is in the container and when it was created :-)

I remember my mother’s pumpkin scones….

says a lot about how the pumpkin bread was made if Earl thought it was meatloaf…so it says a lot about Earl!

well darn, no wonder it tastes bad.

If only Earl had known, he could have just added some pickles

… and it would have been fine. Pickles makes everything better.

Pumpkin bread is most popular in the fall, so how old was it? It may have looked like meat loaf (no disrespect to meat loaf intended.).

Why would Opal put pumpkin bread in the refrigerator? Putting it in the refrigerator only dries it out. When I make it, it either sits out on the counter or cut up and put in the freezer. Mostly it gets eaten before it is necessary to freeze any part of it. Furthermore, I am not interested in anything “pumpkin spice” except pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread. All the rest is a waste of time and food. Whoever came up with the idea of making things “pumpkin spice” should be punished.

Looks like Earl needs to have the old eyes checked.
