The reason God is a “he” is because that’s what he is/was. Our God started our as the highest God in the Canaanite pantheon. He was named El, with the nickname of Elohim (kidding about the nickname). He had a wife, or at least a girlfriend. :D Her name was Asherah. A real hotty, as I understand it. :D. Well, I guess this will be goodbye for me, Red. You and many others, Baptists in particular will find me offensive. Sorry
