Goat should take advantage of modern technology and send Pig a link explaining pampas grasses.

I’ve always known it wasn’t ‘pompous’ grass, and I’ve always enjoyed thinking of it as being that anyway. And in fact around this part of the ’hood, folks who grow it do seem to be making a social statment…

I just planted a dozen sunflowers in pots yesterday. Gardening is so exciting. My neighbor has all of these pets and I used to want one but now my little sunflowers are my babies.

Goat, do not try to grow it in that little pot! Pampas grass gets big! Pretty feathery blooms in fall.

Goat doesn’t have a problem with the grass. He only has a problem getting Pig to understand – Panel 3 is what is in Pig’s imagination.

Mother Baker once insisted on growing Pampas Grass in her Oklahoma backyard. Against all odds, she was successful. Still not sure why though.

DON’T DO IT!! I’ve worked with that a few times, and I promise you: pampas grass (with its serrated knife edges) can hurt YOU way worse than you can hurt IT.
