They would NEVER say that. They don’t even believe it. What they SAY is that they’re making sure only legal voters get a chance to vote. What they believe is that black voters are likely to vote the bastards out, so they must be prevented… one way or another. The usual tools are gerrymandering, purging voter roles, and making sure that it’s as difficult as possible for black (and poor) folks to get to the polls, vote by mail, actually vote once at the polling station because of few and less functional voting machines… etc.

Anti democracy republicans get more racist everyday.

Apparently Georgia is a state that believes if you could not vote then you really were not trying.

My personal favorite is the law they passed to make it a crime to offer food or water to somebody waiting in line to vote. What a bunch of jerks

The TRUMP PLAGUE has killed as many as died in the Civil War of the 1860’s. And it has affected the minds of elected officials as well as the health of their constituents. The White Supremacists in the South started the war to keep blacks down. White Supremacists still want to keep blacks down by preventing them from voting. We haven’t made much progress, have we?

if you actually read the laws.. food and drink is bribery (you can’t buy a congress person food or drink because it’s bribery) so giving food and drink to a voter is no difference. Might want to think about that… If your are standing in line and need food and drink, it show the gov’t doesn’t have enough polling places to make it efficient.. this is an easy fix.. . also to note… how do you know that someone might try to poison then or make them sick so they can’t vote.. you open the door to a ton of possibilities.. try to see the whole picture not what the news media tells you.. learn the system which in case of voting without id and not American citizen is extremely flawed.. .. Would you let a stranger into a family meeting and have a say in what your family can and can’t do?

There is no question whatsoever that the Godawful Obsolete Party is trying desperately to betray the ideal of one person-one vote (and the other ideals of the United States of America). It will use imbeciles and lunatics (the Qanon crowd) as foot soldiers if necessary but mostly simply dishonest lawyers, while relying on dishonest judges. Let’s face it, the party’s nationwide, state by state attempts at suppressing legitimate votes is so incredibly blatant that any judge with even a bare rock bottom minimum of honesty, intellligence, and sanity would toss out the trash without a second’s of hesitation. Problem is, in this regard, it is instructive to remember that two members of the Supreme Court are felony criminals….
