Don’t ever retire.

All the good stuff.

… getting out of the house, getting out of the house, getting out …

And getting breathed on by sick prople.

Sick people, no mask, who put there head over the cubicle wall and breath down on you.

the other day my wife said she’d like to leave the car at home and take the train into sapporo once in a while, just for fun, and after i stopped laughing i reminded her of what it was like to commute in tokyo…

The backups in Chicago are almost nonexistent, a lot easier with all the people working from home.

Said no one ever.

Been at a home office since 2008. And I’m NOT going back into a cubicle.

My company even got rid of the cubicles, they love the open work environment so people can “communicate” (but I’m an engineer, and spending 90%+ of my day trying to concentrate) Oh, and if it saves them a lot of money on floor space, that is just a coincidence.

I think the best part of working at home is the meetings. Instead of sitting in a hard little chair trying to look attentive and keep your eyes open, you can turn off the camera, lie back on the couch, close your eyes, and wait for the stupid crap to end.

Yeah, I can see how that might happen…..

Not to mention giving driving lessons to tail-gaters in the rightmost lane.
