One might think that Biden is a bit busy unscrewing the screw ups of the orange one timer. Give him a bit of slack. He has a lot to do.

And what did the one that shan’t be named accomplish with his press briefings, beside providing more comic material for the late-night comedy shows/programs!! And don’t get me started on his TWITTLER pronouncements!! Besides, President Biden is too busy trying to undo the major FU%ARS of the “Golden One!!”

Nearly all of Trump’s Press encounters were outside to or from the helicopter landing site, where questions and answers were shouted over the wind or rotor noise. Those few actual scheduled Press meetings Trump gave invariably degenerated from his snide asides into angry insults at reporters who asked questions he didn’t like. And what he usually said was a heap of self-praise, misleading information, or even downright lies.

I predict each one of Biden’s formal meetings with the Press will be worth many times one of Trump’s.

Why is this even a concern?

Breen would much prefer and endless, constant spew of Tweettering bile, hate, misinformation and bigotry.

In this case, it is easier to judge him by his actions than words.

7 and ½ weeks and not a single second spent on a golf course or in “executive time”

The White Win… sorry the Right Wing media is upset that Joe communicates coherently through a press secretary that doesn’t have to present totally obvious lies when so doing, and only occasionally faces media – but when he does, answers questions coherently, and articulates vision, direction and thoughtfulness.

He told us exactly what he was going to do during the election and now he’s working on getting it done. I’d say that’s pretty damned transparent of him.

A lot of GQPs claim some malarkey about making sure he isn’t senile or is competent to make quick decisions, as if he were going to be leading a SEAL time on the ground or something. The chance that he or any president will ever have to make a critical decision in 3 seconds on a total surprise issue for which they have had no warning, prior information or chance to plan ahead is negligible. We don’t need split second reactions—we need thoughtful consideration. All this demand for a free form press conference feels like the worthless, low-life Rethuglicans just wants a chance to ambush him. He can be held accountable for prepared answers to submitted questions just as easily as ones fired off with no warning—even more so. Not that anyone ever held Dump accountable for anything.

Works for me. Less talking and more doing.

Steve “Just Occasionally Off the Beam” Breen, Biden truly has been making statements and press releases. The reason they might slip by is that they’re not full of disinformation, quotes from anti-science/snti-thinking wackadoodles, or denials, cover ups, and outrageous lies. Or simply even trying to convince Americans that he didn’t really say what he just said a day before while live on camera and in front of many reporters – like someone else we all know used to do and incredibly often. While that made easy fodder for late night talk shows and a plethora of cartoonists it seems like the Mango Moron actually held less presidential press briefings than even Calvin “Silent Cal” Coolidge. However, in his favor I also think he went through the largest number of presidential press secretaries on record. Biden has been busy lately though doing… now what do we call it? Oh, yeah… actually running the nation for the people instead of as a massive trainwreck and a series of daily (or more often) personality crises. You will have to admit he’s being kept a tad busy trying to undo four very full years of corruption and self interest that should have been spent doing the business of the people (and not just the business of himself, his family, his cronies, and a lot of incredibly wealthy campaign donors to the exclusion of virtually everything else). Oh, and Biden hasn’t spent approximately 25% of his “days in office” on a golf course nor over 30% of his time at plush hotels and resorts. I can see how you’d confuse Biden with the last “president.” They’re so much alike, right?

You just gotta find something to rag about don’t you?

Joe has more important concerns than glad-handing reporters. There’s a pandemic in progress, businesses failing, people in need. he has a press secretary that’s there every day, which is more than the Last Guy had. When things settle, maybe then you can worry about beauty briefings.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas Steve? You do remember the last four years don’t you, all those informational press conferences loaded with facts and those stirring heartfelt addresses to the nation that gave us hope?

Biden’s pressers have been on subject, informative and leadership quality. There was no going off on tangents, claims of record crowds, accusations of everything fixed, and no complaints about toilet flushes.

Would you rather have a President who makes speeches all the time, or would you rather have a President who works to solve the problems of the day all of the time?

Joe gave a nationwide address the other day, where was the idiot cartoonist?

White House Press Briefings: Interesting contrast between theTrump era briefings and the Biden era briefings. With Trump, we had 99% bovine deposits, followed part way through by pretty much no press briefings. With Biden, we have real briefings and solid interaction and follow up. Jan Psaki is a pleasure to watch.

How many pressers do your golden gawd hold in four years?

Old joe’s handlers will never allow him to do a real “press conference”. When and if he does “answer questions”, they will be pre-selected media toadies with pre-selected questions, and the “answers” will be prompted to him. If he’s a good boy, he’ll get applesauce and not an ass-chewing.

I think that Biden should follow T-F-G’s lead and have his press secretary do all the briefings on MSNBC and shutter the WH press room as they did for the last 3 years.Would that make it better for you Steve?

Well i can tell you one thing Steve, he ain’t at the fricken golf course!!! He has a decent press secretary who really DOES answer questions. And when necessary, he does address the nation. He also seems to me to be very actively doing the job he was elected to do.

So, first you complain that he’s doing too much, and now you are complaining that he isn’t doing enough?

In real life the press secretary has been seen and heard. She’s an able and accomplished women.

Loser 45 did nothing to stop covid, waiting for Trump to do anything was a total waste of time that can never be recovered.

Reason…the hiding of a president….his prepping is on going!

If Trump did this it would be the lead story for a week.\Why does Biden get a pass?It is because most democrats are idiots and really do not understand anything. They only repeat the same story over and over. They cannot think for themselves.

After the last four years, it is nice not to have an egocentric that wants the media spotlight constantly on him. Enjoy it. Leaders should only be heard sparingly.
