I’ve thought for awhile that our universe and everything in it was God’s senior project in college. Meaning that God had the whole school year, but partied until the last week. It explains a lot. The reason God is so angry in the first parts of the Bible is that He got the grade you’d expect from spending less than a week on a project that all the other gods spent the whole year on. Man was made in His image because there wasn’t time to come up with anything better. Adam naming all the animals, ditto.
Speaking of evolving into a chain restaurant, there’s a place here in Guadalajara that is a restaurant inside a dinosaur museum. You walk in to dine thru the open-jawed head of a dinosaur. I think it’s a one if a kind variant, though….like the Vinny model with its wings not fit for take-off, let alone ever getting airborne.
Feature, not flaw, please. It is a feature. God’s opponent would take away that feature, like some politicians from both sides of the aisle. That feature, letting us choose dumb or smart, kindness or hate, is what life is all about, really.
