Since when did a plastic potato have genitalia?? It was always “neutral!!” Some people and their obsessions!! First world problem – NOT!!

We all know this is just one of a series of radical right fake outrage issues. They are useful in getting people worked up over nothing while distracting from actual right wing failures. After all, the right fails at everything. It fails at protecting the people from disease, it fails at protecting the people from storm damage, it fails at the economy, it fails at justice, it fails at actual freedom, and it fails at protecting the constitution. But it’s GOOD at getting people outraged over Merry Christmas, Dr. Seuss, bathrooms, and that Potato Head.

All those right wingers and their cancel culture. Trying to cancel Potato Head now because their delicate sensibilities have been flummoxed. What a bunch of snow flakes.

And so it goes……

Lying covid spreading anti relief bill Republicans don’t give a crap about working Americans. Their fascist Trump should be our dictator, that’s all they care about.

It’s so refreshing to see the political anger directed at the gender of a representative potato rather than the color of a man’s suit.

This is a classic case of people needing to get a life.

I’m old enough to remember when Mr. Potato head had no corresponding “Mrs.” and we had to supply our own potato. And when being gay was extremely dangerous to life and limb. And when I wasn’t allowed to take Home Ec (and my sister couldn’t take Shop)… and it took intervention from my very proactive mother to get me (male) into a typing class because that was (only) for people who wanted to grow up to be Secretaries. And when we had “get under your desk” nuclear attack drills. And when we were REALLY afraid of polio. (I had a cousin who spent some time in an iron lung. Now THAT is scary!). And when “look it up” required standing up and going to the big dictionary… or the Britannica… instead of asking Siri.

So even though right-wing snowflakes are lamenting "cancel (should be “consequence”) culture" and we’re in the middle of a very lethal pandemic that’s being aided and abetted by “my rights” idjits (and other right idjits too)… even so, I really prefer today to the 50s. Really I do.

Exactly!! Bigger fish to fry even if it were true that spuds had genitalia. Which they don’t last time I cut into one, anyway.
