Just priceless and lookie here they have communications between members of congress and those who stormed the capital get your popcorn ready this is going to get good.
Theodore Seuss Geisel had a lot of issues, some of which he became aware of & dealt with, some not so much. The books are not being banned. They are being suggested as books that parents and teachers need to discuss with children to explain to them why those books can be seen as hateful and hurtful. They are not being recommended for those reasons but they are not being banned by the ALA (American Library Association). Those screaming about this should know the truth of the situation. The only thing about this and Mr./Mrs. Potato Head that people are trying to cancel is the idiocy about people who feel certain that human beings have to fit into stereotypical pidgeon holes (and especially the “… OR ELSE!!!” part of that idiotic thinking).
Yertle, McTurtle….You’re only Old Once, but Can be STUPID Forever,….Oh, The Lies You Will Tell….donald j trump, Will You please Go NOW!….Horton Hatches an Insurrection….How the Grinch Stole Everything He Could Get His tiny hands ON….The Cat in the MAGA Hat with Nothing Inside….
The only book I had any “trouble” with was Bartholomew and the Oobleck. My daughters found the recipe for Nickelodeon Slime and made batches of it in green and called it Oobleck. It was a year after their very last batch that we finally found the last little bits.
Instead of getting their knickers in a twist over the Dr Seuss estate removing its own books, they should focus their energies on real problems, like how they’re being taken over by Q-Anon freaks.
Trump State Department Employee Charged With Storming Capitol Entrance Had “Top Secret” Clearance
Hopefully, “Freddie” is just the first member of the Trump administration to be charged for their part in the Capitol Insurrection…
The New York Times
The F.B.I. said on Thursday that it had arrested a former State Department aide on charges related to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, including unlawful entry, violent and disorderly conduct, obstructing Congress and law enforcement, and assaulting an officer with a dangerous weapon.
The former midlevel aide, Federico G. Klein, who federal investigators said in court documents was seen in videos of the riot resisting officers and assaulting them with a stolen riot shield, is the first member of the Trump administration to face criminal charges in connection with the storming of the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob.
What’s bizarre is the Republican’s have attributed the stop of production of those 6 books with the Democrats. Which has not an element of truth, so par for course with the Republicans. As it is, it’s the family of Seuss and the publisher that made that decision without any outside influence.
In his suit, Swalwell alleges Trump and the other defendants violated local laws in the nation’s capital by inciting the mob to storm the Capitol as Vice President Mike Pence was in the Senate chamber to certify the 2020 presidential election.
“As a direct and foreseeable consequence of the Defendants’ false and incendiary allegations of fraud and theft, and in direct response to the Defendants’ express calls for violence at the rally, a violent mob attacked the U.S. Capitol,” the suit states.
Swalwell also alleges Trump and his co-defendants conspired together to violate the civil rights of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden by attempting to block the transfer of executive power to them after they won the 2020 presidential election.
He’s seeking unspecified damages to be determined at trial.

Listen . . . On quiet nights, when the winds whistle in from Pompelmoose Pass, you can still hear Cancun Cruz reading “Green Eggs and Ham.”

I would not buy them from a store.
I would not buy them from a whore.
I would not buy them off the shelf.
I would not buy them from an elf.
I would not buy those books you drew.
I would not buy them anyhoo.
But I’d buy even from a fool
That one they banned, “McElligott’s Pool.”
