1. Bozo wasn’t done sleeping. Hey, or more cosy in here than on the park bench.
2. You had enough exercise, doggie. Now enjoys the ride.
3. Send me outta the jail, will you? Take that! And that!
…
And of course, it’s not fair to not appreciate this wonderful comic. A big thumbs up and a big hand for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime called Bozo. The best artwork in a funny I has ever seen, Foxo always delivered the best spectacular scenes in glorious three dimensions, wonderful perspectives, all drawn on two dimensional paper. A splendid skill that only the very best cartoonist can master.
1. Go back to where you come from, huh? (Well, if that’s a BARgain for you…)
2. June 28th 1949 – the invention of a new trend: the skatbording dog! Bozo was ahead of his time!
3. And again a look in the future by great Bozo… this time he forsee the “Home Alone”-scene with that Kevin kid throwing bricks from the building. So don’t tell him he’s just another “Brick in the Wall” or “Thick as a Brick”, man!
HAPPY VETERANS DAY! Bozo was a regular feature in “The Stars and Stripes,” the Newspaper of the United States Armed Forces and was much appreciated by our men and women in uniform. I remember my older brothers, who were in the Marine Corp in the early 1950s, mentioning that the other Marines were speculating about the Man with the umbrella, as to who and what he was all about, without their knowing Foxo’s sons were among them. Bozo also fought the Nazis throughout the Second World War within the pages of the Richmond (Virginia) Times-Dispatch.
I just found about this comic here, reminding me of looking at these Bozo strips in the paper when I was a kid in the 70’s (repeats most probably). I was now going through the pages here when I noticed that whenever the author could, he would include the umbrella man in one of the squares in each strip. Mostly exterior scenes.
1) Grateful Rest: In the hoosegow Bozo is sleeping soundly. Then awakened and he must leave. He sneaks back in after removing the window bars to get back to that wonderful nap!
2) Ride Along: A little dog chasing Bozo & Bozanne so he stops and gets a skate board tying to the bumper so doggie is riding with them.
3) Brix ‘n Bash: Bozo going to work as a bricklayer (we’ve seen he is before), from up top he tosses brinks at 2 cops!!
reminded me of O. Henry’s “The Cop and the Anthem,” i which a homeless alcoholic is increasingly frustrated in numerous attempts to get arrested and jailed for 90 days in a warm cell rather than face the rigors of a New York winter.

1 Hey, as long as he already had them ready for a breakout anyways, might as well finish his nap.
2 Bozo helping out the pup with his roadwork.
3 Gotta keep the ol’ arm in shape for his next time on the pitcher’s mound.

I’ll take a shot at the missing titles:
1 – Extended Stay
2 – Be Kind to Animals
3 – In the Catbird’s Seat

… are these repeats? I’m sure I’ve seen them before, but I did go on a little archive binge a while ago.

1) Mere bars won’t stop Bozo from sleeping in. 2) Energy saver. 3) Building a relationship with the police…the hod way.

When was the last time you saw a hod in a cartoon…or anywhere, for that matter?

A new landmark: Bozo as of today has 600 GoComics followers, without any help from social media. Thanks to each of you!
