Once again, a big thumbs up and a big applause for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime, wordless wonder called Bozo! Such a joy to read Bozo every day!
While all the three strips are, as usual, drawn with three dimensional depths, the third strip today especially is a great example of Foxo’s splendid talent of creating scenes with three dimensional depths on two dimensional paper.
1) Seeing Dr. Psycho: Bozo is having a physical testing his leg response to a tap on the knee. When the small hammer fails the wacko doctor uses a sledge hammer sending Bozo toward the door in the air backwards!
2) Hard Nut to Crack: The walnuts are tough this year, Bozo uses his cop nemesis to crack them with his heavy tread.
3) Beware of Bozo: A robber, by his uniform mask, sees a dog house and the warning sign. He hears motion inside and runs way. Bozo is in side and wonders “what’s his problem?”
A fun and very inventive comic I wish I had known about sooner and am still enjoying it now 3 a day is generous.
Mr. Foxo had to be creative every day and he got to plumb the depths of this great character that could easily be one for today with just minor updating.
Many thanx once again Mr. Reardon for this chance to see great work from so long ago.

2. OK…I’ve heared about the long arm of the law but the heavy foot of the policeman..? Nuts!
3. They say all men are dogs and sons of bitches, but to make them all live in a kennel can’t be the solution, folks!

❶ Dr. Psycho is conducting a neurological exam to confirm the integrity of Bozo’s spinal cord. In panel 4 the Dr. lost all of his integrity!
❷ You won’t catch me putting my hand anywhere near that cop’s foot. No wonder he’s called a flatfoot.
❸ Any dog would be safe from that bandit, and so is Bozo. Who said a gun makes you fearless?
