A lot of us progressives feared this would happen when banker Joe won the Democratic nomination. A better option than the previous occupent of the White House but did we really expect a whole lot from a guy who has as much more in common with compromising centrists and even a conservative like Manchin than he does with Sen Warren, Sen Sanders and AOC? I will give him the benefit of the doubt but a lot of people are feeling the pain of the guy in this strip wnile Congress waffles along on the Covid aid and giving the working class a living wage, Biden being lukewarm on the $15/hour is concerning…..

Sitting on your hands is slightly better than actively destroying the country like trump. I like the taped on tears.

WTF? Biden is pushing hard on the Covid Stimulus Bill.

News flash, Theodore: under Biden more people have gotten vaccinated in six weeks than in a year of Trump’s operation warp speed. If you’re going to use your cartoon as an editorial, have the decency to keep up with the news.

Hey Teddy, if you did some checking, you would find that the Golden One is still an EX presidunce and has not been reinstalled in the White House!! Now the talk from the QIDIOTS is that the next date is 20 MAR!! But do continue with your drivel!!

Covid checks are likely coming again – there’s the money she wants. Vaccines will soon open to everyone too.

There’s another side as well. I can’t sell my deceased brother’s house because his boarder refuses to leave, and he is gaming the moratorium system to continue living in the house rent free. Meanwhile, the property taxes and the mortgage payments are still racking up, eating away at his estate.

Vicious lying obstructionist Republicans are doing everything they can to block the covid relief bill, why don’t you attack the racist jackals who always throw sand in the gears?

Mr. Rall, the U.S. is not going to see radical Progressive ideas being voted in by Congress. Let’s start with measures such as re-authorizing a Voting Rights Bill with teeth. Let’s get an infrastructure bill passed, which will prime the economy and put people to work. Don’t stop fighting for other issues which are more Progressive but don’t expect their adoption in a form you totally agree at this time.

Yes, Biden is asking that the 600 page bill be read out loud. Moscow Mitch has nothing to do with it. In reality Mitch wants it done because Hawley, Greene and others don’t know how to read like their god Trump!!

I have the hardest time trying to figure out Ted Rall’s point on most of his cartoons. And even when I’m satisfied I figured it out, I’m almost never sure.

Yup.. Joe and his sidekick are doing a lot of “standing around”.. Makes you wish for the pace trump set doesn’t it?

The cash is in the $1.9 trillion bill that Biden sent to congress. Congress controls the spending, not the president. Republicans are doing all the stalling, all the objections. If there is a complaint it should be against voters who kept or put Republicans in office, and those who voted for tRump, or didn’t vote allowing tRump to take office, and Republicans to control the senate.

Biden has accomplished a great deal in 6 short weeks, having to get the pandemic under control while untangling all the mess tRump left. tRump didn’t get the vaccine out, ordered too little, and wasn’t involved at all in it’s development. Pfizer did that with no tRump or government help. This comic is misplaced by someone who doesn’t seem to know how our government works.

It’s Congress who spends the money. Surely you know that.

Wow, Biden has only been in office for a couple months and people are upset that he can’t solve big problems like a pandemic and the economic problems it caused immediately?

Actually, the bill the Republicans are stonewalling on, would help people like the woman in the cartoon. So, if you want to blame anyone put it where it belongs and blame the Republicans.

Right… ‘cuz it’s Biden’s fault the Republikkkans in the Senate are holding up the relief bill, cutting benefits and suddenly feigning concern over the debt.

Actually, yeah, he is there with cash.

Biden and the Democrats are doing their best to pass the Covid Relief Bill. Not to mention keeping the number of vaccinations going up (and, hopefully, the general public by May or June). The problem is the fact that the Dems in both houses have a very slim majority over the GOP and the GOP (now that the Dems own the White House) is suddenly concerned over the National Debt and the Deficit. Which is why I (and many others) would welcome an elimination of the filibuster and replacing it with a straight up and down vote. Or, at least lowering the filibuster threshold for legislation from 60 votes to 51 (like they currently have for judicial appointments). Then, we can really start moving forward by passing the John Lewis Voting RIghts Act and/or the We The People Act. But, for now, Biden and the Dems have to play the hand they’ve been dealt.

“Giving him the benefit of the doubt” is what liberals and now progressives do that is so wrong. If he’s not going to at least give the appearance of doing what he was elected to do now, while it’s still early days and people are willing to support him, we have no one to blame but ourselves when a year from now he’s sending troops overseas, nothing has changed with student loans, and the corporate centrists he’s packed his Cabinet with are giving away money to the banks and investment companies and lobbyists, as always.
