Nate needs to go to a sleepover in the school. Again. He’s afraid Trudy will come back. Again. He bringed a pillow and a sleeping bag. He walked to school… and saw Principal Nicolas

Principal Nicholas: Ok everybody! I know last time there was a murder on the loose! Snacks will come at 1 hour which will be 8:00! Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Nate slept because of his boring speech. Again. Francis wakes him up.

Principal Nicholas: And if the murder arrives again, we have a gun room!

Nate was now not worried of Trudy! He could beat Trudy with guns!

Principal Nicholas: Whoops! Time passed! Get the snacks!

Nate rushed to the cafeteria to snatch some cheez doodles. But they didn’t have cheez doodles. Instead he brought Cheetos. While Nate eat Cheetos he heard a scream.

???: AHHH!!!

Nate (thinking:) Here we go again…

Who do ya think is da murder? It is not Trudy.

She objectively plays favorites. When Gina interrupts her to answer a question early, she congratulates her, but when Nate does it, she gets mad at him.

“Darn it!” Francis and Teddy looked up from their lunches to see Nate coming towards their table, his face spelling out his frustration. “I’ve tried asking pretty much every girl in the 6th grade if they want to be my date to the school dance, but so far no luck! I don’t get it!”

“Dance?” Teddy asked. “I didn’t know we had a dance coming up.” “Next week is the spring dance,” Francis said, “I’ve already asked Sheila to go with me. Nate is just frustrated that no one would go out with him. Like it is a big shock to him.” Nate sat down beside Francis and propped his elbows on the table. “I don’t understand. I’m good-looking, have irresistible charm, and…”

“And you are full of yourself.” Teddy interrupted. Just before Nate could reach over and swat his ear, he quickly remembered something Nate had said. “Hold it for minute Nate.” Nate paused, his hand just inches from Teddy’s ear. “You said you’ve asked pretty much every girl to be your date? Who haven’t you asked?”

Nate sat back down and knit his eyebrows together, thinking about the question. “The only girls I haven’t asked is Gina, Kim, and Dee Dee.” “Why haven’t you’ve tried asking Dee Dee?” Francis asked. “Well…” Nate began, “its because, well, um…” Nate’s ears began to turn red as he tried making up a reason as to why he hadn’t asked Dee Dee, the drama queen of PS.38 to the dance.

“Its because you LIKE her, isn’t it?” Francis teased with a smile. “OOOOOOO…” Teddy began to whistle. “No! That isn’t it at all!” Nate blurted out. Truth be told, Nate liked Dee Dee as a friend, but that was as far as his feelings for her went. Though he did sometimes think she was cute, maybe even the cutest girl in the school.

MRS. GODFREY EXPOZED

Gina throws a chair at Nate, making him yell in pain.

I was walking through the woods, trying to plot my next move. No doubt the weirdos who want to capture me are coming for me right now. But they want me alive. Why? To study me, or just to simply contain me, right? Suddenly, I saw two helicopters fly overhead. Their marines or something jumped down and started firing tranquilizer darts. For some reason, none of my powers activated. I was just running, at a normal speed. A tranquilizer dart hit me in the leg, and everything went dark. I woke up in a base above ground, with soldiers. However, these soldiers weren’t those idiots that tried to capture me earlier. These soldiers had a different logo on their helmets and their armor is green. Still had the same gas mask and bulletproof vest though.

Previously, when Mrs. Godfrey tapped on Francis’ shoulders, both of them disappeared.

Nate: Hey, uh… Teddy? Have you seen Mrs. Godfrey? I think she is acting weirder than usual.

”Teddy” turned around, but Teddy wasn’t there. It was Mrs. Godfrey. And she didn’t look like her normal self. It looked like she was bigger and paler. But that didn’t matter because she YAWNED.

Nate: * whimper * don’t hurt me…..

Mrs. Godfrey FAINTED. Nate gasped, he didn’t know what to do! He had figured out why, he connected the dots.

Nate (thinking): Wait, I yawned, I think that made her annoyed..? Oh, and then she tapped her chest and disappeared! Wait WHAT that is one of her powers in Ultra – Nate and my Mrs. Godzilla comics! (I know it’s not pls work with me here.) She is also sensitive, so when I said “weirder than usual” she got sensitive! OHMYGOSH she was also pale and big kinda looking more like Godzilla!

Nate went to go find Teddy, avoiding Mrs. Godfrey. But the bell rang, so he went to science.

Big Nate and the Big Event – Part 12

As soon, as we got out of school, we went to Francis’ house. In the garden, we put two chairs for Nolan and Zach and we put some Super Glue on the chairs.

“Are we gonna make pics of them, when they’re trying to get up?”, I asked.

“Okay, but one”, Francis replied. “My battery is low”.

“We have to eternalize this moment”.

We all quickly hid into the house andlooking at Nolan and Zach through the window.

“Where’s that cute babe with her friend?”, Nolan asked Zach.

“I dunno. As the letter says, they’re in this garden”.

Meanwhile, the sprinklers turned on. The water was pouring on those jerks. They didn’t give up and they sat on the chairs. We tried not to laugh, when they did it. But the funny part was coming…
