The book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies came out the same year as this strip, 2009. (The movie, of course, came later.) And there were a number of follow-up books along similar lines. So Bucky was really on to something this time!

Bucky is a visionary. He saw the limited attention spans of those who interact regularly on social media and accommodated them accordingly.

Everyone who has tried has offered up some winners. Now if you can just do that every day for XX years as well as drawing all the cartoons, you too can have a successful career as a comic artist, meeting beautiful people who can’t keep their hands off you.

I’d go see most of those.
