Is there something I’m missing? Did the CEO of Coca-Cola come out as an unrepentant White Supremacist Right Wing Militia Christian Nationalist Domestic Terrorist?
What’s TrueScreenshots shared widely in February 2021 were authentic snapshots of a real online course on LinkedIn, produced by Robin DiAngelo and entitled “Confronting Racism.”
What’s FalseHowever, the presence of a Coca-Cola logo in a screenshot taken from LinkedIn does not prove that DiAngelo’s video course was required viewing for Coca-Cola employees. Coca-Cola has explicitly denied that DiAngelo’s course, which included a section entitled “Try to be less white,” was part of the curriculum for its mandatory diversity, equity, and inclusion training.
What’s UndeterminedWe have not yet been able to corroborate Coca-Cola’s denial.
The issue, seems to me, is whether Coke actually ran with this concept, and for how long. Coke’s response to the error seems to be “moderately” good. I think it’s more a proof that big businesses are TOO big, and less a deliberate effort by this particular business to reverse discriminate.
It would be really difficult for me to be less white. I’m primarily of British descent and what isn’t British is from other Northern European regions. Because I live in New England, by this time of year I’m so white I blend in with the bed sheets. :P

This is the sort of advice proffered by those who would benefit by being human, no doubt a daunting challenge by any measure.
