We visited Burma (Myanmar) in January 2016 and were very taken with the happiness and hope of those folks we talked with. Some of them returnees from political exile. They though their future was bright – too bad their military thinks it knows best, and I thank our military for making it clear to Tiny that they were not going to support his dictatorship try here. America’s future still looks promising.
As a kid in the 1950’s while on vacation I looked forward to seeing the Burma Shave Signs, Didn’t see any that warned about getting your head cutoff with a straight razor.
